6 000 Ukrainian Refugees got Provisional Asylum in Nizhny Novgorod Region
More then 6 000 Ukrainian refugees got provisional asylum on the territory of Nizhny Novgorod by 20th of October 2014. This information has been officially provided by representatives of the Federal Migration Service Department of the region.

The statistics shows that 18 692 adult Ukrainian refugees as well as 4 442 children have left their homes for Nizhny Novgorod region starting from the beginning of 2014. 6 089 Ukrainian citizens have already left the territory of the region together with 686 children. It should be noted that not all Ukrainians visited Nizhny Novgorod region as a result of military actions. Only 6 561 refugees from all applied for getting provisional asylum and only 1 928 people have taken part in Resettlement Government Program of Russian federation.

Moreover representatives of the department said tat 2 998 Ukrainian refugees are already employed which is 82% of all able to work Ukrainian citizens who have come to Nizhny Novgorod region and got provisional asylum
