2 new medical centers will be opened in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia

Medical Center in Volga region has announced abut an auction which is devoted to construction of center of positron emission tomography and center of radionuclide therapy in Nizhny Novgorod. In accordance with information that appeared on official website of government purchases yesterday it is planned to open both centers before 31st of August 2016.

Both medical centers will be located next to clinical hospital # 3 on Marshal Voronin Street, 20a. 440 million rubles will be spent on construction of radionuclide therapy center. 544.8 million rubles will be spent on construction of positron emission tomography center. Financial support will be provided with the help of targeted federal grants.

It should also be noted that construction of these medical centers in Nizhny Novgorod region is a part of federal program. This program is aimed on developing of public health sphere in the region. This program also includes construction of Nikiforov Center of Emergency and Radiation Medicine.

1.3 billion rubles have been already provided for developing public health sphere in the upcoming year.
