12 years-old girl drowned in Nizhniy Novgorod region

Last night on July 15, 2014 in the village Sechenovo, Nizhniy Novgorod region Russia on "Michael" pond 12 years-old girl drowned. It is reported by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Nizhniy Novgorod region.

The girl cycled to the river with her friend. When they had been going into the water, both girls submerged. One girl managed to swim out, and the other drowned. Then it was found out that the deceased did not know how to swim.

It is also mentioned that the children swam without any adult supervision and the place was not equipped for swimming, so this aggravated the incident.

Now a case is remitted for further examination.
